We reviewed Candidate Affidavits to analyse wealth growth for Lok Sabha 2024 Candidates.

The average Median Income growth rate in India from 2019-22 was 0.7%. 

Median wealth is a more authentic indicator for income growth as it reflects the accumulated wealth-level below which 50% of us live. Mean wealth is usually propped up by rapacious growth of the Top 1%.
